When you’re in love, you sleep better – Dr Yaw Osarfo

Sleep is one of the most important needs of people.

Sleep, like exercise and a healthy diet, may help avoid a variety of health problems, including heart disease and depression.

Sleeping well has a direct impact on an individual’s mental and physical wellbeing. It can have a significant impact on one’s vitality, productivity, emotional equilibrium, and even weight.

People who exercise regularly are thought to sleep better, especially at night, and feel less drowsy throughout the day.

However, according to Dr Yaw Osafo, Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director of Medicas Hospital, people who are deeply in love sleep better.

“When you’re in love, you sleep better, even if you’re in a stuffy room. “I’m telling you, when you’re curled up against your loved one, sleep comes and takes over,” he remarked.

Curdling, he believes, causes sleep because hearing words of love and devotion sounds delicious to the ears.

Dr. Yaw Osafo also believes that children should sleep for extended periods of time. “When you sleep, things like growth hormone, which is vital for growth, get released, and the rate of release peaks during sleep,” he explained.

People who sleep for less hours, such as two or three, cannot be physically fit, according to him.

Sleep, as most people are aware, is medicine because it allows the body to restore itself. Getting enough sleep is critical for overall health and well-being.
