Two people are said to have died after a fire destroyed the Korle-Bu Police barracks in Accra.
On Thursday, April 28, 2022, at about 11.30 p.m., an incident occurred.
An 11-year-old child and a 65-year-old woman are the victims, whose identities have yet to be revealed.
As a result of the epidemic, three other people were injured to varying degrees.
“Firefighters from the Accra Regional Headquarters Substation and the Accra City Fire Station reacted to the fire, which started about 23:30HRS. The five persons who were injured were evacuated from the fire and taken to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, but two of them were pronounced dead on arrival, according to a statement from the Fire Service.
