Four men suspected to be galamsey operators have been beaten to death and their bodies dump in a mining pit by military men suspected to be members of the operation vanguard.
The four, a driver, mate and two others were transporting an excavator to an unknown location when the suspected military men in a pick up signaled them to stop.
According to an eye witness, the suspected galamsey operators, initially thought the vehicle which was trailing them was the owner of the excavator so the placed a call to him to verify if he was the one driving behind them them but he answered in negative and ordered them to stop and speak to the occupant in a pick up to find out why they were trailing them
After they had stopped the military men pounced on them and beat all four to death using the but of their guns.
The victims had the eyes smashed and some had their head too smashed in the process.
