A spiritual leader of a local church in Nigeria has said no virtuous woman will allow maids to prepare food for her husbands
Rev. Azubuike Mgbikeh of the Chuch of Nigeria said this during a local event in his church where he frowned on the delegation of cooking duties to maids by wives.
He advised that such women are at risk of losing their husbands since most wives feel lazy to play their role of catering for the family which includes cooking for their husbands.
He preached by saying:
“It’s unfortunate that many women don’t know how to cook. That’s why they will start campaigning for the house to help as soon as they get married. Don’t allow the house to help to cook for your husbands.
“A virtuous woman will not do that. If the household must prepare any meals, not soup and stew.”
He spoke about the qualities of a virtuous by taking Biblical references from the book of Proverbs.
A word to the wise is always enough.
