The Bono East Regional Minister, Kwasi Adu-Gyan in the company of the Techiman North District Chief executive, Peter Mensah paid a working visit to the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme-NEIP to have a discussion with management on how NEIP can help entrepreneurs in the new Bono East region.
The discussion centered on support for entrepreneurs under the presidential business support program, greenhouse innovation and capacity building for entrepreneurs in the new Bono East Region.
The regional minister believes collaboration with NEIP could go a long way to boost business activities in his region.
He said the new region has a lot of potentials hence the need to collaborate to develop these potentials
He said his administration will not be business as usual. ” I’m committed to making the new region one of the most developed regions in the country”
NEIP management led by the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, Joseph Kumah Mackay applauded the minister for his good initiative in supporting entrepreneurs in his region. He said NEIP is committed to helping entrepreneurs grow and businesses to thrive. “NEIP, as set up by the President is mandated to support businesses and develop the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the Bono East Region will have it’s share”.
In the meeting were; The Directir of Finance at NEIP, Dei Daasebre, Director of Business Development, Franklin Owusu Karikari and Director of Communication and ICT, Joseph Osei Oppong-Brenya.
