How To Feel Good in Lockdown Wellness Tips ( Part 2 )

Sometimes it’s just, well, nice to go easy. Whether you’re stressing about work, feeling under the weather or have spent too much time buying into social media hype on the virus, you just have to take it easy on yourself.

Your wellbeing is so crucial now.
Here are some lovely, easy, no cost things you can focus your mind on and they will benefit your mind, body, and soul.

Now take out those new plates, mugs, glasses, cutlery, tray, etc you’ve been keeping for a special occasion. That special occasion has come. Cook that special meal you’ve never had the time to. And wear some of your favorite clothes, look lovely for yourself.

Take those afternoon naps you’ve always been craving for after that heavy lunch in the office. Watch your old favorite movie – is it Titanic, Pretty Woman or Girls Trip? Select your favorite music playlist. Or try some new music genres like classical, jazz, soul, old folks or movie soundtracks.

Have you played video games with the kids before? Good time to play with the kids by coming into their world.

Start journaling daily it could turn into a book. Make some 30mins to write down your thoughts and lockdown experience. Learn how to have deep breathing deliberately. Make time to watch the sunrise or sunset.

Have you walked bare feet on grass or sand lately? If you have that space make that one of your morning routines. Get up early and watch how the plants wake up. You will thank me later.
We’ve all been told lemon in warm water is good, have you been practicing that every morning? I guess this is the right time. I do this religiously but now my morning cup has become 3 because I prepare some for my kids as well. So give it a try now as a daily morning routine.
