Ghana Airforce School of Trade Training develops hand washing machine
The Ghana Airforce School of Trade Training has developed a hand washing machine as part of its practical programme.
Flt. Sargent Okran, an Avionics instructor at the school who showcased the product in a video, explained the working of the machine.
The product has two pipes at opposite ends which makes it possible for two people to wash their hands simultaneously.
Both pipe outlets are sensor operated. There is also a liquid soap compartment which also has a sensor.
All one has to do is move their hand toward the outlet and the liquid would be dispensed.
The innovation comes amid similar ones which seek to instill hand washing in citizens following the Covid-19 outbreak.
Watch the video below as Flt. Sargent Okran explains the mechanisms of the machine.
