Educated youth to soon find agriculture attractive – Akufo-Addo

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has stated that investments in agribusiness are bringing educated youths to agriculture.
Mr. Akufo-Addo stated that the government is concentrating its efforts on promoting commercial agriculture.
“We’re concentrating our efforts on boosting commercial farming and drawing educated youths into agriculture, as well as developing Ghana’s light manufacturing sector, speeding up digitization initiatives, and positioning Ghana as a regional hub,” he stated.
“Ghana provides agribusinesses with easy access to European export markets at a lesser cost than anywhere else in #Africa.” Agro-processing companies get a five-year tax break, and agribusinesses in manufacturing get location-based tax breaks. #GhanaForInvestment“
