Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah to cut sod for the Phase 1 of Sports Facilities Development in Ejisu
As part of his commitment to urbanize the Ejisu township, bringing it on par with the mental ideal of the patriotic Ghanaian, through the availability of adequate infrastructure to serve the basic and higher needs of the people of his Constituency, Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah Esq is poised, yet again, to spearhead the commencement of a grand scale sport facility development.
The member of Parliament for the people of Ejisu will on Saturday, 9th October, 2021 cut sod for the Phase 1 of his intiative to develop sports facilities in the constituency to aid its sports development and that of the country as a whole.
The Phase 1 comprises of a chain of multi purpose sports centres at Tikrom, Krapa, Besease, Onwe and Kwaso for various sporting activities including football, volleyball, handball and basketball.
When done with Phase 1, the Phase 2 will also see to the development and completion of pitches in the following towns; Jachie, Baworo, Donaso, Bonwire and two other selected towns.
The facilities come along with watering hoses, connected to a reservoir which will be used to maintain the green grass of the pitches. All sites shall also have boreholes and pipes.
The people of Ejisu welcome this developmental project with open hands, and typically, are rest assured that its proposed 6 month completion time will be honored.
