COVID19: How to Create a new parenting style, by Ariel the wellness coach.

Our children are not on vacation and this is not the same as the weekend or it is a holiday. Let’s face it, COVID-19 has even brought about a clash in parenting styles. My children are in their teens and yet I have my own struggles as a parent. These times are not even normal for our children and if communication and the right support are not there you may not know they are also finding this as crazy as you are.
How do we cope with the clash in our normal parenting style and also be very supportive to our children wellbeing – mentally, physically, emotionally, and also spiritually. How can we hold space for our children without affecting their well-being at the end of all this uncertainty? And yes, there is anxiety in the 24-hours of parenting.
We will be looking at how to manage and create a new parenting style to support both yourself and your children and most importantly how to make meaning of this for them and help them adjust psychologically in these uncertain times.
