Receiving the items, the Banda United Association Chairman, Faisal Swalla expressed gratitude to Mr. Danquah for remembering them in this hardship brought on them by COVID-19.
“We are however, saddened by the behavior of Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim, MP for Banda. We are aware that as a MP he is being given Common Fund, NHI Fund, ect which are to be used to support citizens from Banda in times like this. We have also seen on social media and Tv how some serious MPs are supporting their people all over in the lockdown areas. Unfortunately Ahmed does not care about us” he said
The group however sent a strong warning to their MP not dare come to Kumasi to bus them to go and vote for him
“If he doesn’t care about us in times of needs we also don’t care about him in times of elections”
Faisal Swalla fumed.
