Breaking News: John Dramami Mahama has chosen Hon. Eric Opoku as his running mate for 2020 Election

Information reaching xlponline indicates the National Democratic Congress has settled on Hon. Eric Opoku, Asunafo South MP, Ranking member of the Agric and Cocoa affairs committee of Parliament as the running mate of John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming generation election.

The NDC have been criticized for not been able to choose a running mate to partner former President Mahama in the upcoming general elections.

Mr. Eric Opoku Eric Opoku was born on 5 June, 1970 and hails from a town called Sankore in his region. He had his Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in year 2004. Prior to his appointment into parliament, He worked as a teacher at SDA Primary School, Sankore

If he is confirmed he will partner Former President Mahama to battle power with the incumbent government led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and Vice President Dr. mahamadu Bawumua as the running mate
