Bizline Consult, through its Incubation Centre, unveiled “Savannah Accelerate,” unlocking the potential of promising and ambitious SMEs through the World Bank/NEIP Acceleration Programme on September 2, 2023, in Damongo.
In a world where agility, adaptability, and innovation are the cornerstones of success, SMEs play a pivotal role in driving economic growth and fostering innovation. However, the path to success is often fraught with challenges that require strategic guidance, access to resources, and a supportive ecosystem.
Therefore, “Savannah Accelerate” under the World Bank-NEIP 6-Month Acceleration Grant Programme, as part of the Ghana Economic Transformation Project (GETP), marks the beginning of a transformative journey. This initiative will provide 20 SMEs with invaluable resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities to propel the growth and success of their businesses.
During the launch event, Madam Jean-Marie Akiwele Wellrich, the Managing Director of Bizline Consult, emphasized that “Savannah Accelerate” transcends being a mere program; it serves as a powerful catalyst for transformation, driving the ambitions and aspirations of emerging entrepreneurs forward.
“As we unveil this program today, we also shine a spotlight on the potential of a region that has long awaited its moment to shine. We firmly believe in the power of innovation and the capacity of local talent to transform challenges into opportunities. This acceleration programme is a testament to our faith in entrepreneurship’s transformative ability to propel economic progress and social advancement,” she stated.
She further added, “Through mentorship, training, access to capital, and a nurturing ecosystem, our aim is to cultivate the entrepreneurial spirit deeply rooted in the heart of this region.”
Additionally, Mr. Godwin Wuankah, speaking on behalf of the CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme, Mr. Ofosu Nkansah, highlighted that the Acceleration Grant Programme underscores the determination of the President of the Republic, as part of GETP, to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
He pledged NEIP’s support to the Bizline Incubation Centre, ensuring their effective contribution to the development of entrepreneurs in the region, ultimately elevating them to international prominence.
“I challenge the MD of Bizline Consult to groom entrepreneurs and nurture them into top business moguls within the next two years through this and other programs.” He stated.
