A Twitter user has disclosed the main reason why most rich celebrities in Africa ain’t donating to their government to aid their fight against the Coronavirus.
In many developed countries, celebrities are giving out huge sums of money for the fight against coronavirus.
Rihanna, Cristiano Ronaldo, etc are a few of such people.
In Africa, it is only Sadio Mane who has done the honorable thing by giving Senegalese authorities some cash to help them fight the disease.
According to @UrTrueModa1 on Twitter, most rich celebrities in Africa are not ready to help their government by donating to them because they are not trustworthy.
She tweeted:
“In most African countries, their politicians are not to be trusted and that is why many rich celebrities ain’t donating to them to aid them fight the Coronavirus.”
